About The Artwork

'Am I Dreaming' is a heavily textured acrylic painting on a 140 lb sheet of Arches hot press watercolour paper with deckled edges. It measures 22.5"w x 30"h and is painted right to the edges.

I often work intuitively and begin with random mark-making. This painting began this way as well. Several painting sessions followed building up layers of texture with a variety of expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colours.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
